What is Oxy-Máxima?
Where Can I Use Oxygen Based Cleaning Products?
Why is Oxy-Máxima a better overall value than other Oxygen Bleaches?
Q: Does Oxy-Máxima contain any fillers? A: No. Oxy-Máxima is a blend of sodium percarbonate and natural sodium carbonate (soda ash). The selected level of sodium carbonate enhances the cleaning power of the sodium percarbonate. There are no added fillers or additives. Oxy-Máxima contains a significantly higher amount of oxygen bleach than other nationally advertised oxygen bleach products. Oxy-Máxima uses only the highest quality domestic raw materials whereas other products many times use imported materials of inconsistent quality and performance. Oxy-Máxima is guaranteed to give better performance than any other advertised sodium percarbonate oxygen bleaching product. You have our word! (back to top)
Q: How Do Oxygen Based Cleaning Products Work? A: Traditional household bleaching products are based on chlorine. While effective in bleaching, destaining, deodorizing, etc. they are very toxic and are harmful to people, pets, plants, and the environment, as well as detrimental to fabrics over time. Oxygen based bleaching products are just as effective as chlorine based products but will not hurt people, animals, plants, or the environment. Also, they will not harm the fabric or surface they are used on. Upon mixing with water, they release oxygen which does the destaining and deodorizing. In fact, unlike chlorine bleach which can merely cover up a stain, Oxy-Máxima attacks and breaks down organic stains to totally remove them from the garment. (back to top)
Q: I have a sensitive skin. Are your products safe for me? A: Many of our products are safer for sufferers of allergies, asthma, and multiple chemical sensitivities (MCS) than those commercially available. We add no fragrances or dyes to our products and most of our liquid products are soy-based, which minimizes the risk of an adverse reaction. However, because each person's condition is unique, we cannot be responsible for any adverse reactions to our products. (back to top)
Q: What is Oxy-Máxima? A: Oxy-Máxima is a blend of sodium percarbonate (which is oxygen bonded to soda ash) and sodium carbonate (soda ash). It is like a solid form of hydrogen peroxide but more powerful and stable. It is a white, odorless, free flowing powder. It is activated by water where it releases oxygen which provides cleaning and stain removal. Unlike chlorine based bleaches, sodium percarbonate is non-toxic and biodegradable. The level of soda ash used by us optimizes the cleaning power of the sodium percarbonate. Most other manufacturers of oxygen bleach products use a much higher level of soda ash whereby it becomes a low cost filler rather than a performance optimizer. (back to top)
Q: Where Can I Use Oxygen Based Cleaning Products? A: Oxy-Máxima oxygen bleach is excellent for cleaning and removing organic stains (such as coffee, tea, wine, fruit juices, foods, sauces, grass and blood) from fabrics, plastics, fiberglass, porcelain, ceramics, wood, carpets, asphalt, concrete, etc. Oxygen bleach containing products can be used in any place in or around the house that need to be destained and deodorized; they are efficient, safe and economical. Although Oxy-Máxima is most often used for laundry, carpets, and upholstery, is it also a great deck cleaning product. (back to top)
Q: Why is Oxy-Máxima a better overall value than other Oxygen Bleaches? A: Because we provide the highest level of active ingredient at a fairer price. For example, a couple of years ago a leading oxygen bleach manufacturer lowered the level of effective ingredients in their product; the price dropped, however, the newer version does not clean as well as previous product. We have had new customers who have switched to Oxy-Máxima because they noticed this, too. (back to top)
